MEET TESSA
From a young age, Tessa has been passionate about behavioral and mental health based on her experience with an autistic family member. After working with children as a voluntary pre-kindergarten instructor and assessor for the state of Florida, she decided to pursue her interest in working with children and the families of children who have been diagnosed with a learning deficit diagnosis.
She earned her B.S. in human services and management, followed by an M.S. in Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavioral Analysis. While earning her degrees, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and peer mentor at an early intervention behavior intervention clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Tessa also garners substantial experience providing executive-level and administrative support in behavioral health, mental health, early child education, and Early and Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI). Thanks to this skillset, she formed a virtual practice offering knowledge in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements as a Support Coordinating Consultant to behavioral and mental health practitioners operating private practices or non-profit funded social groups within the behavioral and mental health industries of the state of Florida.
In addition to general office management, Tessa has worked directly and regularly with clients in the dispensing of behavioral health interventions for individuals with learning deficits, crisis interventions, home, school, and community involvement, and outreach activities.
Tessa is a proud mother of twin boys and lives in the Tampa Bay area with her family.
